Glenn H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship Endowment

The Glenn H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship supports first time freshmen or transfer students from Allan Hancock College or Cuesta College who are from Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties and demonstrate financial need. The endowment was established in memory of Glenn who passed away on January 3, 2002 at the age of 92.  Glenn served in the Army-Air Corp of the United States from 1943 to 1946.  During his service in World War II, Glen flew a Curtiss C-46 Commando over the dangerous “hump” over the Himalayas between India and China.  After an honorable discharge, the Robinsons moved to Southern California where Glenn was involved in Real Estate Development.
