Joe Jackson Memorial Scholarship

The Joe Jackson Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Joe who was the manager of engineering at Vandenberg Launch Operations for Lockheed Martin Astronautics until his retirement in 1996.  Joe considered his participation in the first Titan 1 launch from Cape Canaveral as well as all Gemini launches to be the highlights of his career.    He died on January 9th, 1996 at the City of Hope.  This scholarship supports incoming freshman enrolled in the College of Engineering.
