Jim Lyons Rodeo Scholarship Endowment

The Jim Lyons Rodeo Scholarship Endowment supports members of the Cal Poly Rodeo Program who participate in a timed event (team roping, calf roping or steer wrestling).  Jim Lyons graduated from Cal Poly in 1955 and was awarded all-around Rodeo Champion in 1953.  He was a gold card member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and remained active in Rodeo and agriculture his entire life. Priority given to Monterey County High School grads.
