Thomas A. Ruehr Honorary Scholarship Endowment

The Thomas A. Ruehr Honorary Scholarship Endowment supports Soil Science majors with an expressed interest in production agriculture, soil fertility, plant nutrition and/or sustainability or pursuit of graduate. Dr. Ruehr taught courses at Cal Poly in fertilizers and plant nutrition, soil microbiology and biochemistry, advanced soil fertility, soil vadose zone remediation, and soil interpretations.  This scholarship was established in honor of  Dr. Ruehr’s passion and commitment to his soil science students. Recommended 2.5 GPA.
