CAED Diversity and Inclusivity Project Scholarship

This scholarship will enable a student of any major in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design to advance projects to promote social equity in the built environment. Projects may include, but are not limited to, conducting research in the student’s field of study, developing a program that could be implemented by the college, or creating an art or design exhibition that looks at intersections of the built environment with race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, physical ability or attributes, and religion. Upon completion of their project, the scholarship recipient will present or write a short reflection paper about the outcome(s) of their project. Recipients will be encouraged to become members of the CAED Diversity and Inclusivity Committee (commitment may be fulfilled during the awarded year).
