Ian McMillan Memorial Scholarship in Environmental Activism Endowment

The Ian McMillan Memorial Scholarship in Environmental Activism Scholarship supports upper division students who have demonstrated their concern for Earth through some recognizable form of environmental or political activism while at Cal Poly.The endowment was established in memory of Ian, a well-known area environmentalist who passed away of congestive heart failure in 1991 at the age of 85.  Throughout his lifetime, he was an advocate for land conservation and native plant protection.
