Castagna Architectural Scholarship

The Castagna Architectural Scholarship supports Architecture and Architectural Engineering majors who have completed at least one year of undergraduate, or if graduate completed undergraduate degree. Preference for low income students. Selected recipients must be U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen as defined by the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Selection based on application, personal statement and faculty letter of recommendation.

This scholarship requires applicants to provide an essay account (500 words or less) addressing the following points:

1. Describe your background and factors that qualify you for this scholarship.
2. Describe how this scholarship will impact you personally, educationally, and professionally.
3. Briefly describe your involvement in any extracurricular (school, university, community) activities.
4. Discuss your short-term and long-term goals.
5. Briefly discuss any special considerations the committee should know about.
